Mansonia

Mansonia | 05.04.24 - 02.05.24

This wood's peculiarity is its wide tonal scale, ranging from a deep brown with violet reflections to a yellowish brown. Its heterogeneous character makes it undesirable for framers who want uniform consistency in their work.

Curiously, the five works selected for the first edition of Punctum resemble mansonia wood. They all circulate in a similar tonal scale, but each one has particularities that differentiate it from the rest.

Embracing this singularity, I have decided to work exclusively with this wood to frame each of the pieces, as it has been the only one capable of providing the tonality capable of containing them all, allowing content and container to merge to create a melody of unique ranges that is worth listening to closely.
